Description : Metaphors expressing origami birds and a growing tree made of music symbols were injected in this piece of artwork inspired by a classical music piano piece by Chopin. Bubbles here were to express the tenderness of the music, they're so tender that they're fragile enough to pop in the most graceful way. Whereas the jellyfish were to represent the rhythm of the piano piece.

Bawang Merah Bawang Putih Storybook Design

Description : I played around with the motives and graphics of Indonesian batik and convert them into something modern yet preserving the traditional culture. The colours were inspired from the original batik through a tremendous amount of research. The main objective of this project is to play around with the typography and visuals, creating a balanced and interesting outcome.
